What a Free Kitchen Exhaust Evaluation Includes

ProKEC Team · July 18, 2026

ProKEC offers a free kitchen exhaust evaluation so you can understand system condition and cleaning priorities before you commit to service. Here is what that visit typically includes—and what it does not.

What we review on site

  • Hood interiors and grease removal devices
  • Filter condition and fit
  • Visible duct openings and clean-out access
  • Exhaust fans and rooftop grease containment when accessible
  • Obvious maintenance concerns that affect cleaning scope

What you leave with

A practical recommendation covering cleaning priorities, suggested service frequency, maintenance concerns, and next steps to support NFPA 96 compliance. There is no obligation to book immediately.

What evaluation is not

  • Not a full deep clean—that is a separate scheduled service
  • Not an engineering design review or code consultation for new construction
  • Not a guarantee of inspection outcomes
  • Not a quote invented without seeing access and grease depth

How to prepare

Have someone who knows lockup, alarm, and rooftop access available. Share recent cleaning certificates if you have them. Note any kitchens or outlets on the property so we do not miss satellite hoods.

After you book cleaning

When you proceed, our technicians clean the agreed scope to NFPA 96 standards and provide detailed service reports and certificates of compliance for your records.

Next step

Request your free evaluation online or by phone. We serve commercial kitchens across Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill.
